I fully agree with the article on the use of ” emotional support animals”. I remember the first time I flew on a commercial aircraft, how stressful it was.
On a recent from Durban to Cape Town, I sat close to a very old lady who flew for the first time to visit her grandchild. Lucky the crew took care of her and prepared her, something we cannot really do with a pet that does not speak the same language as us.

That is my little advice from a student pilot to future student pilots.
